Pure Skin Face and Body Clinic has been operating in the Northern Territory for 5 years, offering a variety of high quality treatments to our valued clients including; waxing, lash extensions, henna eyebrow treatments, super hair removal, platpox plasma, skin needling, tanning, body piercings, make up, massage and relaxation facials.   

Pure Skin Face and Body Clinic are searching for a talented Beauty Therapist to join our small busy team who:

  • Holds a minimum of Certificate 3 in Beauty Services
  • Has experience in the Beauty Industry, preferably 2 years’
  • Is able to do all waxing, tinting, facials and possibly eyelashes. Massage is a bonus, if qualified. 
  • Demonstrates strong levels of willingness to produce high standards of work in a dynamic, fun and professional team environment.
  • Loves training and learning new treatments
  • Eye for detail, not only for treatments but also salon presentation and cleanliness
  • Strong work ethics, reliable & well presented.
  • Be a passionate & positive team player in a vibrant atmosphere.
  • Ability to work weekends and at least one late night per week.

Overall, this industry must be your absolute passion. 

Permanent ongoing employment available for the right therapist.

Your new role
You will be required to work in a small team on a variety of projects across Darwin. You will be expected to examine drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine specifications. Selecting and working with materials such as timber, veneers, particle board and synthetic wood. Marking out, cutting and shaping wood and working from drawings and specifications to make furniture and assembling parts to form sections of furniture and completed articles.

Working Monday - Friday this role is perfect for work life balance.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need;

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Valid driving licence
  • Due to immediate start, must reside in Darwin

Selection Criteria:

• Ability to carry out and conform to safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment

• Hold a relevant Trade Qualification and current registration as a Licensed Plumber and Drainer

• Sound knowledge of town sewer systems including pump stations and treatment plants.

• Sound understanding water supply systems including chlorination plants.

• hold a current C Class Driver’s Licence, or higher

• Experienced in operating mobile plant relevant to the position

• Have the ability to work unsupervised and/or to work well in a team environment

• Possess an exceptional customer service approach

We are currently recruiting a FIFO Communities Maintenance Plumber to join our maintenance division. The role will be a key member of the team that provides maintenance services on Government Infrastructure in a number of communities including Galiwin’ku, Ramingining, Gapuwiyak and Milingimbi. The role travels with and works alongside the Maintenance Coordinator to ensure Government assets within communities are safe and the infrastructure is repaired and maintained to Deltareef’s high quality standards of work.

What we offer:

  • $50 per hour + Super
  • FIFO roster generally consists of 12 days on community, 2 days break in Nhulunbuy, 12 days on community, 7 days break Darwin or Cairns
  • 10 hour working days
  • Shared accommodation on Communities and in Nhulunbuy
  • Flights provided from Nhulunbuy to Cairns or Darwin
  • Fixed Term until 1st Feb 2021 with the potential for ongoing employment

Requirements:

  • Plumbing trade certificate and NT licenced (or appropriately qualified and experienced to obtain NT plumbing registration)
  • Gas Licence
  • TMV & Backflow Accreditation
  • Drivers licence (Truck licence preferred but not essential)
  • General Construction Card
  • Working with Children (Ochre Card)
  • Able to pass Police clearance for work on Police Stations
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol medical
