About the role:

We are currently seeking a driven and reliable Field Service Technician to join the team at Linde Material Handling at our Huntingwood branch. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for attending various customer sites to provide service, repair and maintenance on Linde equipment.

You will enjoy working as part of a supportive team and look forward to building a career with a well-respected company and gaining experience working on some of the world's premier forklift trucks.

Enzed Sydney has several branches throughout the metropolitan region and we are seeking to appoint a Hose Service Technician to join our team at Wetherill Park.

Our success is based on a combination of using only the best people with quality products, together with nationally recognised training.

Role

  • On site repair and replacement of hydraulic hoses and components
  • Develop an understanding of our customer requirements
  • Provide on-site solutions to satisfy the customer

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical trade background or at least three years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial sector.
  • The ability to self-manage and to self-motivate.
  • The ability to work overtime and willingness to participate in an “On call work roster”.
  • To comply with company policies and procedures.
  • A willingness to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Be the holder of a current Australian driver’s license - Ability to drive a manual vehicle.
  • Basic Computer skills

Desirable

  • Experience working on mobile plant and equipment
  • Previous experience in the assembly of hose and fittings
  • Ability to work with tube and Pipe

About Us

Regional Technical is the leading repairer of ATM’s, Self checkout terminals, Cash recyclers and cash management terminals in regional NSW. The business over the last 14 years has become widely known for our exceptional customer service and we are the preferred service agent to several large cash handling brands. Supported by teams in Dubbo and Wagga, the business looks after a significant geographical area west of the Blue Mountains. Providing repairs and servicing to ATM's, self-checkouts, cash redemption machines and cash management terminals.


About the Position

Regional Technical is seeking a Service Technician to join our team based in Orange NSW. You will be responsible for onsite service and repair of clients equipment in an approximate 200klm area in radius. Sites include Banks, supermarkets, pubs, clubs and service stations. You will have a varied and interesting day working on a wide range of equipment. 

About You

As a person you would be described as someone who has had a long-term interest in technology, mechanical components and computers. You will have a natural sense of urgency and great customer service approach. You would also have a natural ability to find faults on equipment that is foreign to you. You will possess excellent written and verbal skills with passion for customer service. Previous experience in the repair of ATM’s and Self Checkout terminals would be a distinct advantage.

Key responsibilities will include

Becoming competent in the repair and servicing of a range of cash handling equipment. Such as ATM's, Self checkout systems, Cash redemption terminals, and Cash management machines.

  •  Having a good ability to liaise professionally with the customers and ensure repair service levels are achieved.

  • Communicate effectively to management.

  • Maintain and manage your vehicle van stock

  • Assisting with call management including call creation and closure

  •  Adhering to all work health and safety (WHS) best practice requirements and be able to identify potential hazards to ensure your safety and others in the workplace.

To be successful in this position you will have

  •  An Australian drivers licence

  •  Willingness to supply a National Police Certificate (NPC) as part of onboarding

  •  Genuine interest in computers both hardware and software ideally supported by a Certificate III in Information Technology and/or possess an office equipment repair background such as photocopiers and printers or similar.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the repair of ATM’s and Self Checkouts would be a distinct advantage.

  •  A good ability to retain knowledge coupled with a high attention to detail.

  •  Be able to work autonomously and within a team environment with a great work attitude

  •  Natural problem solving skills

  •  Excellent communication skills written and verbal

  •  Excellent personal presentation, organizational and time management skills
