You will be responsible for:

  • High accuracy in picking, packing and dispatching orders through our warehouse
  • High accuracy in receiving stock orders, checking stock and storing stock
  • Cleanliness of warehouse and office areas
  • Assisting with all duties in relation to the warehouse and its day-to-day operations
  • Maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues

We are looking for someone to join our Stores team in our Revesby Head Office. This position is a full-time position with a 38-hour work week. It involves a variety of different tasks and responsibilities, including:

  • Receiving goods in and checking for quality and accuracy.
  • Picking goods.
  • Dealing with requests from other branches for stock transfers.
  • Preparing customer orders, liaising with customers and limited dealings with counter customers.
  • Responding to factory requests for material.
  • Performing both scheduled and ad-hoc stock-takes.
  • Answering phones and liaising with customers and co-workers via email.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A current forklift (or a willingness to get this upon successful application).
  • Be available to work full time, Monday to Friday each week.
  • Have basic knowledge of computer systems.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ideally have some experience in the woodworking/engineering sphere, but this is not a pre-requisite.

  • Engage and lead projects that drive continuous improvement of National Distribution operations;
  • Investigate root causes of bottlenecks in current processes to improve productivity.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Degree qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or Operations related disciplines;
  • 5+ years in Distribution Centre Management preferably within Medical Devices or a related field;
  • Ability to analyse logistics data and interpret trends & implications;
  • Complex problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.

The Role

You will report to an experienced Operations Director, a senior leader who will be a champion for your progression and success within the business! You will be responsible for managing a team of 10 across logistics, warehousing and transportation operations based in Australia and New Zealand. 

This is a role that you can really put your own stamp on, it requires someone who is a strong people leader and a driver of strategic initiatives. 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience leading and managing remote teams 
  • You will have recent experience working in a business that has a retail customer network, ideally within a similar industry. 
  • In-depth understanding and passion for promoting best practices for WH&S and CoR compliance
