As a transport allocator you will be responsible for:

  • Allocating trucks to transport a variety of material and machines to carry out each jobs requirements.
  • Update contractor portals ensuring that all information is captured and relevant.
  • Place outbound calls to pool of contractors regularly to keep at the forefront of availability.
  • Receive and handle inbound calls with a high level of customer service.
  • Interact with a variety of stakeholders to ensure all bookings are captured and fulfilled each day on the booking sheet.
  • Ensure that current contractors meet required compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to build report and communicate with contractors.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure fast paced environment essential
  • Satisfactory level of computer competency (specific training will be provided)
  • playing your part as a member of a high performing team.
  • The ideal candidate will also have the following:
  • Positive "can-do" attitude
  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Professional phone manner with the ability to build report
  • Ability to liase with individuals at all levels of the business
  • Prior experience working within a civil construction or earthmoving capacity will be highly regarded.

You will have:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar position

Responsibilities include:

  • Manifesting driver paperwork

  • Planning and allocating pickup and delivery tasks to ensure all pickups and deliveries are completed in accordance with customer and legislative requirements.
  • Creating pallet dockets
  • Booking in customer freight
  • Liaising with customers with a focus on a high level of customer service
  • Problem solving of warehousing and delivery issues
  • Assisting stock control

Overtime would be a requirement of the role at casual overtime rates

We are currently looking for a Food Safety Quality Assurance Officer to be based at our Brooklyn Plant located 15 minutes west of the Melbourne CBD. Reporting to the Plant Manager your brief is simple, develop, deliver and maintain a sustainability program for the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality production due to the procedures used in processing, preparation and dispatch parameters as laid down in government regulations, both internally and externally to Australia
  • Interaction with management, production and supervisory personnel
  • Interact/liaise with DA and other regulatory bodies
  • Revise by amendment when necessary all publications and quality manuals
  • Monitor to ensure the continued surveillance and reporting by the FSQA team of all processes
  • Ensure samples required by the laboratory are collected Participate in internal/external audits
  • Monitor total hygiene practices
  • Maintain an up to date status of all publications/manuals Monitor/record when necessary results of instrument calibration e.g. scales, thermometers, torches and PH meter
  • Stop production regardless of location in nonconformities are not or cannot be corrected whilst production continues

Criteria:

  • Highly developed time management skills including prioritising tasks
  • Intermediate computer literacy (particularly MS Office)
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Company specifications and customer requirements
  • Ausmeat Accreditations would be advantageous
  • Demonstrated expertise in the understanding and implementation of Quality Assurance and HACCP Principles
  • Demonstrated ability to identify critical aspects of production
  • Knowledge of Slaughter floor, Boning Room and Cold Store processes would be an advantage
  • Internal auditing experience and qualifications would be favourable received
  • Ability to work as part of the team and individually
  • Ability to follow JBS Australia Policies and Procedures
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Ability to work on the Afternoon Shift

Your new company

Our client is a main supplier to Retailers with a wide range of products. They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator/Supervisor who can work autonomously in off peak season and who can coordinate a small team of pick packers during peak season. This is a great role for an experienced Warehouse All Rounder to come in and finish their career with our client.


Your new role

This role will require an individual with a hands on approach to their work, Responsibilities will range from Warehousing to Administrator duties. Responsibilities will include but wont be limited too:

  • Loading and unloading of containers via Forklift
  • Pick Packing
  • Update booking sheet when we receive orders, allocations, amendments or cancellations
  • Update delivery schedule
  • Preparation of packing lists - Prep for containers and prep for dispatch
  • Pallet configurations
  • Organizing deliveries and coordinate with retailers
  • Assist with incoming shipments, booking and unloading
  • Managing a small team of casual pick packers for 6 months of peak season


What you'll need to succeed

Ideally my client would like someone who has a great deal of experience in a supervising/coordinating role and looking to join the team in the West with the idea of ending your career with them.

Requirements include:

  • Forklift license
  • All rounder Warehouse experience, at least 10 years
  • Great communication skills, verbal and written
  • Good personality with a hands on approach - not afraid to try new tasks
  • Great personality with the desire to succeed, both personally and for the business

Who you are:

  • Experience in a similar role with post graduate qualification in management and/or quality field highly desirable.
  • Working experience and knowledge of the National Health Service Standards.
  • Proven quality systems development and management experience.
  • Working in a systems-oriented environment of SharePoint/Intranet and risk and incident management systems.
  • Strong background in developing and delivering training in the area of quality and safety, and working collaboratively with project teams, subject matter experts, and a range of stakeholders, to build a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Background in document standardisation and control, internal audit, compliance and process mapping.
  • Proven analytical and root cause analysis capabilities.
